I have led cross-functional teams, managed six-figure ad budgets, built marketing functions from scratch, and seen exactly where money gets wasted and where it compounds into real business results.
The pattern I kept seeing: founders and teams had the most to gain from senior marketing leadership, and the least access to it. A full-time CMO was out of reach.
